Reduce the Risk – Think of Others

Hand Washing:

Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds if they are soiled or if exposure is proved or suspected. If hand washing is not possible, rub hands with an alcohol-based hand rub with greater than 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol.

Sneeze & Cough Correctly:

Cover nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. No tissue, cough or sneeze into you elbow, not hands. Dispose of used tissues and wash your hands after contact with any respiratory secretions.

Protect Your Mouth, Nose, Eyes and Hands:

WEAR BUT DON’T SHARE – Wear Respirator protection for the required job task, but a minimum Half Mask with P100 Filters; Goggles and if necessary a Face Shield; Disposable gloves under work gloves help but only if you don’t touch your face, remove them correctly and wash your hands.

Cover Your Clothing:

Contractor requirements, Job conditions and worker distancing can necessitate protective gowns that keeps out contaminants. Properly remove soiled gowns/protective coverings as soon as possible and wash your hands.

Wipe Down Surfaces/Handling Laundry:

Wear disposable gloves, soap & water to clean, disinfectant to kill germs, wait a minute, dry completely. Use EPA-registered disinfectant and follow required procedures for cleaning/disinfecting various surfaces. Laundry - wear gloves, don’t shake, disinfect laundry bin, use warmest water setting possible and dry completely.
